JACOB THOMAS, LMSW

Jacob is a licensed counselor specializing in stress management, crisis resolution, and life transitions. He has experience working with clients on how to integrate mindfulness and coping strategies with processing mental health symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as grief and loss. He has a wealth of experience working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, as well as families and caregivers throughout his professional career.   

 

Jacob has over five years of experience providing therapy for individuals and families within different levels of care, including inpatient, and outpatient settings. His approach as a therapist is to always provide a compassionate therapeutic safe space that promotes the importance of balance, structure, and accountability within the therapy process. 

 

Jacob's areas of focus include life transitions, grief and loss, motivation building, LGBTQ aspects, identity challenges, and aspects related to self-esteem and self-worth. Jacob is a Gotman Level 1 certified counselor focusing on relationship dynamics with family and intimate partners. He also uses  CBT, and DBT processes for clients to utilize as coping mechanisms as well.

ANDI SNYDER, LMSW

Andi has worked extensively with foster and adoptive families, supporting parents and children. She has worked with many local non-profit organizations, facilitating trainings, working with individuals, and creating programming. Andi's clinical interests include family dynamics, conflict resolution, and supporting adolescents and teens dealing with anxiety & stress. Her clinical interventions utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), traditional talk therapy, and various creative activities to bring comfort and expression to the therapeutic space.

Andi offers a warm and compassionate but accountable approach to therapy to her clients while providing a feeling of safety during a sometimes traumatic and vulnerable process.
