Jacob is a licensed counselor specializing in stress management, crisis resolution, and life transitions. He has experience working with clients on how to integrate mindfulness and coping strategies with processing mental health symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as grief and loss. He has a wealth of experience working with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, as well as families and caregivers throughout his professional career. At The Nourished Nest, Jacob will also be facilitating our intensive outpatient program.
Jacob has over five years of experience providing therapy for individuals and families within different levels of care, including inpatient, and outpatient settings. His approach as a therapist is to always provide a safe, compassionate therapeutic safe space that promotes the importance of balance, structure, and accountability within the therapy process.
Jacob received his Masters in Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Suzette is bilingual in Spanish and English and grew up on the border of Arizona/Sonora (Mexico). Suzette is an outgoing, openhearted, and open-minded therapist who has enjoyed working with diverse populations: the migrant/ immigrant community, young adults, adults, and senior adults. Professionally, Suzette has also provided case management services to youth with criminal backgrounds, adults in substance abuse, and people with persistent mental health illness and chronic illness.
Suzette believes in creating a safe space for her clients while utilizing ACT (Accepting and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Mindfulness techniques to assist clients in processing their emotions. Suzette believes in helping her clients learn tools that will help them get to know themselves better and manage their emotions. Suzette also loves facilitating support and therapy groups as one can learn so much from others experiencing similar strains.
Suzette received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and her bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Arizona.

Andi has worked extensively with foster and adoptive families, supporting parents and children. She has work with many local non-profit organizations, facilitating trainings, working with individuals and creating programming. Andi's clinical interests include family dynamics, conflict resolution and supporting adolescents and teens dealing with anxiety & stress. Her clinical interventions utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), traditional talk therapy and various creative activities to bring comfort and expression to the therapeutic space.
Andi offers a warm and compassionate but accountable approach to therapy to her clients, while providing a feeling of safety during a sometimes traumatic and vulnerable process.
Andi has a Master of Arts degree in Applied Sociology from UMass and received her Masters in Social Worker from Columbia University.
