Monica has over 13 years of experience providing individual and couple's therapy for adults and late teens. Her primary focus is on adults struggling with addiction, anxiety, and depression. Her goal is always to provide resources and a path forward to grow and nurture her client’s spirit and unlock their mental empowerment.
Monica is a graduate of the Alvernia University where she received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Addiction Studies. She also earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
Monica is proven in her field and obtained supervisor status from the State of Texas allowing her to provide clinical supervision to social work students. Throughout her career, she has worked in a state hospital conducting crisis intervention assessments where she worked extensively with state-wide drug court programs, as well as probation departments to assist with recovery programs.
